Sunday just may be my favorite day of the week. I get to spend the day with Danielle, Sammy gets to go to the park without a schedule, all day dinner prep and the cats lazing about in the reading nook ... that kind of stuff.
Today just might be an extra special Sunday. We became Aunties again this morning at 9:53 am (CST). Holly had Ava Isabelle Bitz. She is 7 Lbs 1 oz and 21.5 inches long. Mom & baby are doing well. Congratulations to Emma because now she will able to be a cool big sister and a shout out to Wade ... You rock
Welcome to the world Ava, we have lots of big plans for you.
Tonight is also dinner with some friends and we are going to have a little birthday present opening for our friend Darian. It is the perfect day for some good hearty comfort food so I have a pot of stew simmering on the stove (3 hours) and it will be perfect by the time dinner comes around. What an amazing day to just chill out and make the house smell good.
Dani also made homemade banana pudidng so if I don't mention that I might get in trouble!
Now because I do need to have rant time, why do Doctors tell you "what it could be"? Don't they realize that we all have internet and we will look stuff up? For those who don't know about my liver issues, apparently there is a new tumor on my liver. Tomorrow I have to go in for this all day liver scan which will tell me for sure whether it is FHN (focal nodular hyperplasia - big ass word!) or a precancerous tumor. The hope is that it is the big ass word as an FHN is the second most prevalent liver tumor. It is asymptomatic and has no malignant potential. So although I am trying to remain confident that that is what it is, it makes me a bit crazy with wonder of "what it could be" Fortunately tomorrow will be the day we find out as they will be able to tell me right then & there! Say it with me "FHN FHN FHN"
