Happy Birthday Emma Blais!! Emma is 5 years old today.
We love you and can't wait to see you in April!
The Winter Olympics are pretty much my most favorite sporting event. I guess if you were to rate it in my book from low to high:
4 - summer olympics
3 - baseball
2 - football
1 - Winter Olympics
I am so excited about this trip and the opportunity to witness history. It was a task I was sure was going to impossible and I am so glad I get to cross another "to do" off of my bucket list of amazing experiences I wish to have in my lifetime.
Danielle & I will be picking up our RV on Saturday morning and then hopefully a quick crossing of the border and off to Jericho Beach where we will park for the next week. I am fairly certain that it will be one giant tailgate party and I am absolutely fine with that. We have a few errands to run, short track speed skating on Saturday night and brunch with the Team USA athletes (we don't know which ones yet) on Sunday morning. Monday we are headed to Whistler for the Luge and after that we will meet our pals Christina & Derek who will be attending the rest of the weeks events with us.
I am absolutely excited and am so incredibly blessed to have this opportunity.
Another thing I need to press is my upcoming breast cancer snowshoe walk. I still need some good donors. I know times are tough but anything you can do to help is wonderful. I will be participating in that when i get back from Vancouver and hopefully my legs wont be too tired out from all of the walking we will be doing in Canada.

I am off to get some stuff packed for the trip. Keep your eys peeled for pictures and info about our wanderings in Vancouver. Step outside and feel the excitement ... It's in the air.
Also if you get a chance send a happy birthday wish to my Emma B!
